London with Mick

Took a tour of London.. started at Buckingham Palace.. followed by Big Ben and The House of Parliament.. crossed the Thames and walked along the embankment up to Tower Bridge.. tons to see! Thanks Mick!! (sorry Kelly drank all your beer!)

Liverpool to London

Connie and Mary came to say bon voyage as we headed off to London for a visit with Uncle Mick!

Monday in Liverpool

Saw Luci off today at the Lime Street train station.. followed an amphibious tour of central Liverpool with Connie and a comedic tour guide on "Yellow Duck Marine" :)

We made it to Liverpool.. the first stop on Kelly's family reunion tour in England and Scotland.. we strolled around downtown during the day with cousin Connie and had a great night out with cousin Luci!! more photos to come soon..

Dublin To Paris

well.. after a long unsuccessful search for a laundry-mat in dublin.. it is a mystery how any dubliner washes their clothing!!! So we had to clever and wash them in the bath tub at our hotel, half dry them with a hair dryer and iron.. then hang them up in the bus to continue drying on our way to the airport! what an production.. gypsy style :)

Back in Paris

We spent part of the day fulfilling our scrabble addiction in the Luxembourg Gardens.. The Beaver and the Bull also made their way to the Eiffel Tower..

Buena Vista Social Club w/ Omara Portundo!

We lucked out and caught Buena Vista Social Club with Omara Portundo in Dublin! We were center stage second row back with a crowd of only 300 at the Tripod.. a small venue in a refurbished train station. It was an energetic show.. lots of dancing!

Vaughan's Pub and B&B (our home)

We took a bus to Galway city from Dublin earlier this week... little did we know the Galway festival (the largest festival in all of Ireland) was happening this week!! no rooms anywhere with dazzled folk ready to party flooding the streets. Almost like Mardi Gras.. We took the next bus out of town two hours up the coast to a small town called Clifden in Galway County. Kelly had to pee terribly, ran off the bus and went straight into Vaughan's Pub / B&B... which then became our home for the next five days. We got set up in the presidential suite.. check out Kelly waving out of our window on the top floor! The waterfall was found on a walk 100 meters from our room at an old mill site.

Inishbofin Island

Explored the whole island and made it to the dock for the last ferry/bus to take us back to our B&B in Clifden.
